Corolla Light Sound Front

When Corolla Light was developed three decades ago, a decision was made that was as unique then as it is today: access to the resort's entire sound front property line was preserved with a 30 foot wide right of way to embrace the natural beauty of the soundfront. So regardless of where you're staying on the resort, all guests can bike or walk along the mile-plus soundfront nature trail. If you're feeling especially energetic, stop at one of the three fitness stations and burn off some calories! Enjoy a beautiful sunset off one of our two piers, or bring some traps and try your hand at crabbing. You can even fish in the soundside pond (catch & release).

Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards can easily be launched from any of the bulkhead's sets of built-in steps, or from the steps off one of the piers. And if you need a change of pace, spend some quiet time at our sound side pool.
